The Aiken Civic Ballet is South Carolina’s longest continuously operating dance company.

Founded by Carl Crosby, the company has been in existence for over 36 years.

Under the Artistic Direction of Carl Crosby and Diane Toole Miller, the company produces original ballets and contemporary dance works.

The Aiken Civic Ballet is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization.

Open Auditions for

The Nutcracker

USCA Etherredge Center


The Aiken Civic Ballet invites dancers of all experience levels and ages to audition for 

THE NUTCRACKER.


Audition times:

12:30 to 2:30 PM – 6 to 8 Year-olds

2:30 to 3:30 PM – 9 to 13 Year-olds

3:30 to 4:30 PM – 14 Year-olds to Adults


Please wear practice clothes and bring the following items: 

Ballet Slippers and/or Pointe Shoes (if you have them),

a completed Audition Form, and the $10.00 Audition Fee.
